ANGELICA CHRISTENING GOWN
This unique heirloom-quality Christening Gown from George Henry Ltd is made from the finest Irish linen and features Madeira hand embroidery.
The exquisite hand embroidery on this gown is a 200 year old tradition of the island women of Madeira, Portugal. The front panel of the gown is a combination of hand embroidered French dots and a three flower bouquet repeated on the front of the gown. The round collar and short sleeves are left unadorned so that the name of the christened child can be added by each new generation.
A matching bonnet and full length cotton underdress are included.
With proper care this gown can be passed down from generation to generation.
