BELLE CHRISTENING GOWN
This unique heirloom-quality Christening Gown from George Henry Ltd is made from the finest Irish linen and features Madeira hand embroidery.
The exquisite hand embroidery on this gown is a 200 year old tradition of the island women of Madeira, Portugal. A six inch border of flowers, French dots and appliquéd ribbon is hand embroidered all around the bottom of the dress. The gown is finished with a hand scalloping edge on the hem, sleeves and round collar. The bodice of the dress also features the floral embroidery with a hand appliquéd ribbon.
A matching bonnet and full length cotton underdress are included.
With proper care this gown can be passed down from generation to generation.
